Sometimes when I look at photos like these I become discouraged. I think “Man, I wish I looked like that” but a few things I have learned to realize are: 1. All the weight I’ve lost so far, 2. I know it didn’t take her 3 months to get her body to look like that, 3. This is a life long change, not just a change for the summer, 4. I will be “that” girl one day very soon. Working out, being healthy, making this change can be difficult at times and definitely can become discouraging but believe me look at the BIGGER picture! It takes hard work and dedication to be in shape and healthy. If it were easy the show the Biggest loser wouldn’t exist. Stay strong, hang around with like minded people and KEEP PUSHING!!!

Loosing weight is a psychological battle. When you’re watching what you eat, your mind will tell you to eat EVERYTHING you shouldn’t eat…sweets, soda, cake, chips, candy, etc. Fight the temptations and eat veggies. Eating veggies is better than eating tons of fruit because fruit has natural sugars.

Getting in shape is a life style change, not a diet. Diets only last for so long but a life style change is forever. You have to be committed. You didn’t get out of shape over night so don’t expect to magically have the body you’ve always dreamed of over night.
